Dr. Dermitzakis Eleftherios
Dr. Eleftherios Emm. Dermitzakis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Crete, a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Operational Research, and a Ph.D. in Production Systems from the Technical University of Crete (TUC).
Since 2020, he has been an Laboratory Instructor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) of the Technical University of Crete, teaching laboratory courses in: Signals and Systems, Computer Networks I, Statistical Modeling and Pattern Recognition & Generative AI.
Over the past 28 years, he has participated in numerous research projects in collaboration with the Technical University of Crete, the Hellenic Mediterranean University (formerly TEI of Crete), and the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH). His research interests are closely aligned with the core subjects of the laboratory courses he teaches.
In his professional career, he has served as a Network Administrator and Designer for academic institutions and research laboratories. As a Project Manager, he has overseen the design, development, and monitoring of integrated information systems.
Furthermore, he possesses over 25 years of teaching experience in Lifelong Learning Centers where he has designed and implemented specialized training programs for various businesses and organizations.
